The Details: Academic Support and Advancement

Our Academic Support and Advancement program supplements our students' studies and supports their individual and cooperative learning. At the same time, we offer them direct assistance through permanent tutors and our trained teaching staff.

Time-wise, our study period takes up the greatest part of the program. These hours of study, which take place from 4:00pm-6:00pm every day from Monday to Thursday, are required of all students. During this time, we focus on homework and on preparing for tests or presentations. The students are divided into permanent groups of around ten to twelve; each group is overseen by a faculty member, who serves as their tutor.

For students seeking further academic advancement, we offer individual tutoring with adjunct teachers. Our school employs adjunct teachers in addition to our permanent teaching staff. We offer this service to promote an individual student's strength, or to diminish any academic weaknesses. The designated study hours may also be used for one-on-one lessons with adjunct teachers.  This is for students who require more individual attention in their studies, or who need special assistance due to learning disabilities such as dyslexia. There may be an additional fee for tutoring sessions with adjunct teachers.

We help our students who receive test marks lower than 4 ("sufficient") by arranging additional study sessions. These will be focused on the specific class subject and conducted by a member of our own faculty.
