Elementary School Housing
Our boarding school is one of the few in Germany that accepts children entering only their first year of school. We have done this for many years and our experience in this is solid. Naturally, it is our highest priority to provide a warm, child-friendly atmosphere. With our excellent child-to-attendant ratio and permanent care-givers who are here around the clock, we ensure the well-being of our youngest charges.
In Sonnenhaus (Sun House), our elementary school children live together with students from up to 6th grade. This is to create an environment that both gives them a feeling of security and motivates them to push and discover their own skills and talents. Sonnenhaus was designed and appointed in a way that children can study and explore the old and the new. And it gives the little ones an opportunity to learn from the big kids.
The grounds area right outside this building is beautiful and has a lot of space for playing and running around. There is a little patch of forest with its own little brook, where our children find many things to do – like building their own huts, bridges or dams, or exploring the nearby flora and fauna.
